Welcome to Queer Coming of Age Narratives.

The idea for this class came from my own academic research into queer young adult literature. Queer Young Adult Literature is a growing academic field, but has been largely ignored by both Young Adult studies and Queer Studies.

Through this class, I hope that we can explore these texts together and help show the importance of queer young adult literature, both in the realm of academia, and in the realm of secondary education.
